Developer Policy:

  1. If you expect your embedded YouGlish to exceed 1 million daily impressions, you must contact us about your YouGlish API access, as you may be subject to additional terms.
  2. You must ensure that an end user is provided with clear and comprehensive information about, and consents to, the storing and accessing of cookies or other information on the end user’s device where providing such information and obtaining such consent is required by law.
  3. YouGlish uses Youtube APIs. As such you must display a link to YouTube's Terms of Service in your terms as well as a reference and link to the Google Privacy Policy in your privacy policy. As part of YouTube policy, you must ensure that the YouTube player is 100% viewable with a minimum size of 200px by 200px.
  4. If you operate a service targeted to children under 13, you must select 'Restricted Mode' in the customization options.
  5. If you want to use the YouGlish API or widget for commercial purposes, please contact us to get explicit permission.
  6. If you want to use the YouGlish API or widget as part of your mobile app, please contact us to get explicit permission.
  7. The mention "Powered by YouGlish.com" should be visible at all times.
